If you aren't sure when to keep your child home from school because of possible COVID-19 or other illness, please read the following.


If your child has any of the following symptoms, then your child needs to stay home until they are symptom free for 24 hours without medication:

  • Fever (100.4 or higher)     
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If someone in your household tested positive for COVID-19 your child will be able to attend preschool, but will be monitored for symptoms.


If your child's COVID-19 test is POSITIVE then you must follow the protocol below:


  • Call the main pre-k office- 903-255-7103 and let the Director know that your child tested positive. We are required by the state to report COVID cases.
